Dental practice Liem-Oei was established in Amsterdam in 1960, our second branch was opened in Amstelveen in 2000.
You can count on the expertise and experience of our team. We pride ourselves in carrying out commonplace treatments ourselves. This covers general dentistry, oral hygiene and prevention, aesthetic treatments, root canal treatments, crown and bridge work (on implants), (partial) dentures, patients with dental anxiety, elderly care and pediatric dentistry.
Your care is our priority. Our treatments are carried out professionally, but we also prize a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere important.
METHOD
We would like to see you regularly for routine checkups. During a visit we will go through the daily oral care with you, so that your teeth and mouth remain healthy. If necessary, we take action to improve oral hygiene.
If problems are found within your teeth, the dentist will discuss with you whether additional treatment is necessary. The dentist may also advise on:
- the expected results
- the risks of treatment
- the number of treatments
- the duration of the treatments
- the costs of the treatments
- alternative treatments
Information about treatments can be found in the health information on our website and at www.allesoverhetgebit.nl.
We will discuss minor procedures directly with you and, if necessary, treatment may follow shortly after. For example: procedural dental cleaning or placing a filling. With extensive treatments we will inform you about the costs. After your approval, we will carry out the agreed treatment. This can generally be done within a few weeks.
If special treatments are needed, we may advise you. You can be referred by us to other practices for, among others, Oral surgery / Orthodontics / Implantology.
We store the information about your teeth and the history of the treatments in our computer. This system is secure and we keep the data for at least 15 years. Per your written request we can forward your data to another practitioner.
QUALITY
Quality comes first regarding excellent care and attention for your teeth. We pay a lot of attention to careful information and quality service for our patients. High quality treatments, materials and administration are essential in this.
We apply procedures based on guidelines from the professional association and scientific associations in oral care. Handling patient concerns is also part of that.
Our practice works on maintaining quality.
Various quality-enhancing activities are available within the dental profession. Aside from technical excellence, our practice stresses the importance on the following:
